Brisk Summer Nights Candle

Brisk Summer Nights Candle

A while back, I was standing in line at Aldi to pay for my groceries. While in line, I noticed a lone candle on the shelf. It was only $3.99, so I figured I would try it out and if it wasn’t a good one, I would have only wasted $4. Once I actually burned the candle, I was blown away…the scent was amazing and the throw rivaled candles I had spent more than twice the amount on at other stores! Since then, I have been a huge fan of Aldi candles.

The first thing you need to know about Aldi candles is they usually go FAST. Depending on where you live, Aldi either releases their new items on Sundays or Wednesdays (my store is a Wednesday release store). If you want a candle, you want to be at the store as close to opening as possible (they open at 9:00 a.m.). I have gone later in the afternoon and release dates before and completely missed out.

This particular candle is a 3-wick candle that was released at the end of this summer. Now, I am no fan of overly sweet candle scents. I don’t really want my house to smell like I am baking. I would rather it smell like I just cleaned it. Or, like I just did laundry. This particular candle was spot on with my scent preferences. It is clean, fresh and masculine. The throw wasn’t as strong as some other Aldi candles I have had, but this was still about a 7/10.

If you have not tried an Aldi candle yet, you should look for them next time you are there. The price is phenomenal and their candles rival those with a much higher price point.
