Snowflake Cones–Aldi Review

Who likes ice cream in the winter? I know I LOVE ice cream anytime of year!

These Snowflake Cones debuted at Aldi a few weeks ago and I wasn’t really planning on purchasing these. But, my son came to the store with me and insisted we needed to try these. The cones come in a box of four and are around $2 so I figured they would be worth the try. They are not technically considered ice cream…instead, they are considered as an ‘ice dessert.’ The texture reminds me more of a creamy whipped topping than ice cream.

However, the taste was very good. The ice dessert has a raspberry flavor and the sugar cone is coated in chocolate. The sugar crystals on the top of the cone give you a contrasting texture from the ice cream.

Overall, these were a fun treat to try. The flavor was better than I expected and it was a bit nostalgic eating this type of ice dessert. I would recommend trying these if you have younger children because I know these will be a hit with them.
